On the second day of our Zoom meeting, we were filled with knowledge. Sir Bryan Dave Perez became our CVAP Trainer, and he taught us about Basic Recording equipment such as Types of Microphones, USB Microphones, Condenser microphones, and many others.
We were also taught some steps to take as a Voice Artist. One of them is choosing a niche. It's important to know where you're best, so that's what you focus on. Apart from that, our second trainer PapaLem Ferolino also taught us different ways of using the voice. It's fun, and I realized that our voices are really flexible.
In the second week that passed, all the tasks became challenging for me. There are assignments with us that I never thought I would do or be able to do. There are days when I feel like I can't do the assignments, or I will be asked if the thing I tried to enter is really for me. But the good thing I notice is that I'm learning, and little by little I'm discovering something about myself.
"You really get to know yourself better when you try to do the things your brain tells you you can't do."
When I have things that I feel I can't do, I always think that we are all temporary in this world. It doesn't matter if your life isn't perfect. Because that is the true meaning of life.
It's just like a dish; you won't develop a good taste if you don't mix it with different tastes such as bitter, sweet, spicy, or salty. It's just like our lives; it wouldn't be good if we sometimes went through different kinds of tests every day.
